GKLW series drum cooler is the auxiliary product with the home made extruder machinery and imported extruder. It is mainly used in cooling of the high temperature materials after expanding (the expanded corn and same similar materials are not included). The materials are cooled during tilting motion under the influence of the natural cooling wind and the counter motion of materials. The high temperature expanded materials can be cooled down to under the room temperature +(4-8 °C), the dehydration rate is higher than 3%, so it helps to produce high quality expanded feeds, extend the storage time of pellets and increase economic efficiency.

The reducing motor of the feed machinery runs to drive the drum for rotating while the high temperature expanded feeds entering into the drum by the feeding inlet. MUTZ series Conditioner developed by Muyang itself (hereinafter referred to as conditioner) is mainly applicable for preprocessing product before pelletizing or extrusion, so as to achieve good pellet quality. During conditioning, steam applied into the conditioner can ensure sufficient moisture is absorbed by the product and the temperature is rose as well, which improve product forming performance, facilitate.



The conditioner is composed of cylinders, rotors, driving device and access doors etc. The rotors are installed on the cylinders through the bearings with pedestal at their two ends. Speed variable motor is adopted to drive the driving device; there are access doors installed on the cylinders for easy maintenance and adjustment. Main components of this feed machinery, such as rotor (including main shaft, paddles and so on), cylinder are all made of stainless steel.

After fed into the conditioner from the inlet of upper cylinder, the material is blended and pushed forward by the rotors and then is discharged out from the outlet at the other end. For the material inlet of each cylinder, there is a steam inlet, from which steam of certain pressure and flow rate will be injected into the conditioner to heat and moisturize the material and complete the conditioning process. The conditioning time is determined by the rotary speed of speed variable motor and the angle of paddles as well as the structure of conditioner.
