SJPS Twin-Screw Extruder is mainly applicable for production of floating aquafeed, sinking aquafeed, expanded rich noodle and expanded foods.



The extrusion provides for production of many products with great superiority in comparison with other technologies. Because it integrates functions of different equipments in a single process when extruding in most cases, the procedures of mixing, extruding, cutting, cooking, forming and drying process in a certain degree can be carried out at the same time.

In comparison with single screw one, twin screw extruder has a great superiority in a series of performance indexes such as curing degree of product, pellet uniformity, pellet surface roughness, ingredient scopes applicable for processing and so on.

Special assembly screw structure is applied, so that various products can be produced if only simply changing screw arrangement or changing manufacturing and processing parameters.

The shell of press rollers is made of wear-resistant alloy by metal machining and heat treatment.

The roller shell face patterns shall have a certain effect on the pelletizing performance.

Muyang mainly manufactures roller shells with four kinds of face patterns: dimpled roller shell, a roller shell with open-ended corrugations, a roller shell with closed-end corrugations and a roller shell with helical corrugations.

The dimpled pattern and open-ended corrugation pattern are mainly used for pelletizing feeds for livestock and poultry.

The dimpled roller features uniform wearing of ring die, but poor material traction.

The press roller with open-ended corrugations is good in material traction performance, widely used in feed machines; however, it brings about non-uniform wearing of the ring die.

The press roller with closed-end corrugations is mainly applicable for pelletizing feeds for aquatic animals, and the feedstuffs under processing are not apt to slip towards the two sides.

Extrusion cooking technology is a very efficient processing method in feed production. Nowadays, nearly all auqafeed is produced using extrusion. Within extrusion processing, several processes may occur, including fluid flow, heat transfer, mixing, shearing, particle size reduction and melting, where feed materials are exposed to high temperatures for a very short time. This gives a distinct advantage over conventional pressure cooking, in which the exposure could last several minutes at high temperatures. In the extrusion of food and feed, pellet expansion (or bulk density) is one important property in product quality control and measurement during pellet manufacture, which is different from paste and spaghetti production.

Thanks to the solid expertise in extrusion, and the leading modelling techniques to improve the procedure that determines extrusion parameters as well as combining practical production trials, we had tailored many efficient extrusion solutions for our customers to process alternative aquafeed, and make improvement especially on the pellet uniformity of low-cost recipes.

All the mechanical equipments produced by Muyang are equipped with safety devices, which are consistent with modern technical level and universally effective safety rules prior to ex works, so that the customers can use the machines in accordance with the regulations. The enterprises are obligated to execute following regulations to guarantee operators' safety.

If the operators employed cannot read or write, the owner has the duty to explain to them clearly where dangers exist and warn them that special attention should be paid. The cleaning, lubricating and oiling of the feed machinery or its parts and components may be carried out only when the machine is stopped. If you must climb on or enter the machine to do such work, the mandatory provisions shall be made without exception: The power supply of motors must be cut off completely and the switch must be locked.

Be careful, sampling from inside the machine can never be carried out unless there is not any danger. Usually, the samples can be taken from the pipe under the machine instead of inside machine. Clear off the deposited dust, dirties and materials frequently. Keeping the machine clean can enhance production safety and the cleaning level of workshop, and is also beneficial to dust explosion prevention.

If oil (grease) leakage occurs, clean it immediately and seal well the place where leakage occurs, for oil or grease leaked on the floor will easily bring about hazards to the operators. In production operation, the feed machine must be equipped with safety devices, which may be neither removed and abandoned nor reduced in functions. Otherwise, we are not responsible for any accidents resulted here from, and reserve the right to ascertain where the responsibility lies.

Some parts and components in feed machines are worn off gradually when in use. If these parts are still used after worn to a certain degree, the property of equipment will be affected and dangerous accidents will occur probably. Therefore, these parts and components shall be replaced timely after used for a certain period.

So in order to purchase right spare parts, when place an order, please mention the corresponding serial number, code and description of the spare part shown in table 7-3, and the quantity needed. And provide us the order list via mailing or e-mail; if possible, please attach a sketch of the spare part you require.

Our Company continues to provide maintenance service after a year from beginning of the ex works date, in order to ensure normal usage of the equipment. The cost shall be borne by the customer.

Recently, the 2014 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) food security policy partnership mechanisms (PPFS) Conference and PPFS government and corporate food security and trade dialogue meeting was held in Ningbo, China, from More than 150 members of APEC economies PPFS gathered, associations and representatives together for dialogue on food security, brainstorming, to jointly plan the Asia-Pacific region's food security. National Food Authority Secretary Renzheng Xiao attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech, Muyang was invited to attend the meeting.

The meeting noted that food security was related to human health and safety, related to economic and social development, regional stability was related to peace, the parties need to coordinate cooperation to jointly cope. The 12th China Animal Husbandry Exhibition (CAHE) 2014 concluded yesterday in Qingdao, Shandong. It is the third time the event had taken place in the Chinese city of Qingdao. The exhibition which took place from the 18th to the 20th May, attracted approximately 100,000 visitors to the event. Over 1000 exhibitors took part in the exhibition, with around 200 foreign companies present. The exhibition covered areas of animal health, pig farming and breeding, feed and additives, poultry, poultry equipment, livestock equipment, feed milling machinery and equipment, and more sectors pertaining to the animal husbandry industry.
