Muyang TPH200C Type Extruder

The extruder is mainly composed of a feeder, a conditioner and principal machine.

Feeder

The feeder is mainly composed of a speed-reducing motor, a coupling, a protective guard, a helical rotor, a feeding shell, an access door and an exhaust cover etc.
The feeder needs to install an expected extruding bin with certain capacity, to ensure the continuing producing of the expanded equipment;
The expected extruding bin shall take anti-bridging measures such as asymmetrical structure while installing and producing, meanwhile,it can also take cut-off feeding protection measures such as install vibrating motor before the material entering the feeder, to ensure the homogeneity and continuity of feeding and so ensure the normally, continuously and stably operating of the main motor;
The expected extruding bin connects directly with the joint of feeder, the feeder is equipped with a standard flange and this flange may be used in welding with the expected extruding bin. For the dimension of the feeder joint see the scaled drawing diagram;
The feeder of the feed machinery is frequency conversion variable speed motors, to control the feed rate through the frequency conversion variable speed.

Conditioner

During production, the materials enter into the conditioner shell body through the feeder and have a preliminary ripening. The materials in the shell body of conditioner will mix, infiltrate with the steam by the action of conditioner blades and stay in the conditioner for a certain time. The materials are able to achieve a certain ripening degree. The materials enter the sidelong feeder, which connect with the conditioner, by the action of gravity after leaving the shell body of conditioner. The materials will be force fed into the principal feed machine of the extruder though the effect of sidelong feeder.

A bridge-breaking shaft is set up between the shell body of conditioner and the sidelong feeder in order to prevent the bridging. The Lower part of the outlet of conditioner has also a bridge-breaking shaft in front of the conveying screw of extruding chamber in case of material bridging. Advantages of conditioning treatment:
(1) Promotion of production capacity since materials are cooked partly by the steam, the mechanical energy needed to warm up the products to the maximum temperature is much less; therefore, in terms of equipment with a given power, its production capacity is much higher than that of a dry-type.
(2) Larger molding capacity Steam and water increase the moisture content in materials, which improves greatly the molding performance and the final quality of the products.
(3) Abrasion reduction of the extrusion Since the cooked materials have corresponding temperature and ripening degree, high pressure or frictional force are not needed in the machine chamber and moisture can play a part in lubrication. This can reduce greatly the fretting corrosion, thus to increase the service life of the machine chamber and screw.
(4) Increase of the scope of products; the improved physical properties provided by the cooking work make this extruder able to produce more extensive products
