SFSP-M Series Hammer Mill is mainly composed of a base, a rotor, an upper housing, a feeder and a motor etc. And the rotor consists of a main shaft, hammer supports, pins and hammers etc. While the feeder is a forcing feeder specialized for herbage hammer mill.


Herbage (in bulk or in bundle) to be ground enter into the grinding chamber through a matched forcing feeder from the lateral-installed inlet. By the impacting action of high-speed running hammers and the friction action of the screen, the particle size of the material shall be evenly reduced. Then it will pass through the screen and be discharged out of the bottom outlet by centrifugal force and air flow.

Structure of main components

Base:
The base of the feed machinery is a welded part made of section steel and motor base. It is used to support and connect all the component parts into a whole unit. After ground, the material is discharged out from the base bottom.

Rotor：
Consisted of such parts as the main shaft, hammer supports, pins, hammers and bearings etc. the rotor is a key moving part of the hammer mill. Since the rotor rotates in a high speed, it needs to be dynamically balanced after installation without pins and hammers.

Upper housing:
The upper housing is a welded part made of steel plates. It is connected to the base, together with the screen and the rotor forming the grinding chamber. Material is ground in the grinding chamber.

Feeder:
The feeder for herbage hammer mill is a specially made forcing feeder. The reducing motor drives the rotating shaft then the chain with “teeth” to feed material into the grinding.
