Attentions During Production with TDTG Elevator

The material flow rate can be adjusted through the baffle at head section. It is suggested to adjust the distance between baffle and bucket outer edge to 5mm.



Punching two φ6mm openings at the bottom of each bucket can diminish negative pressure and facilitate feeding and discharging. Material should be evenly and steadily conveyed to the feeding inlet of elevator. Too fast feeding or too large feeding rate may cause blockage in the boot section. Once blockage happened, your must stop the motor first, then open the insert gate of boot section to clean out the material. Only after that, the motor can be restarted again. The backstop device must work reliably and the belt cannot run back. When running with full-load, make sure the there is no belt-slip problem. Once belt-slip happened, the speed monitoring device should act on to stop the motor.

Make sure the motor, the speed reducer and the backstop device are running stably. It is necessary to stop the elevator only when materials are emptied from the buckets, and stopping under loading condition is not allowed unless emergency. Usually, stop feeding and run the elevator without load for 1-3 min to emptily discharge material in it, and then stop the elevator. Record the whole process of rest-run (incl. parameters such as current, voltage, temperature rise of bearing, conveying rate and running time etc. Check whether these parameters are conformed to the requirements of design and specification or not).

When starting a production, start the back feed machine first in order, and then start the elevator and the front equipment. After that, feed material into the process flow. Material flow rate of the feeding inlet should be controlled in a proper range. Material flow rate relationship of the front and back equipment is: front equipment < elevator < back equipment. And material must be evenly fed into the elevator. It is suggested to equip a surge hopper on the head of feeding inlet so that material can be fed uniformly. The sequence for stopping is opposite to that of starting. Note that stop feeding first, then let the elevator ideal run for 1~3 min to empty material in it, after that stop the equipment according to stopping sequence.
